The Hameau des Alpes is a must-visit for anyone wanting to dive into local history. This modern and engaging museum offers a look into the secrets of Reblochon cheese, the evolution of the ski resort, and the history of skiing in general. Set within architectural heritage that includes a traditional chalet, old granaries, a community bread oven, and a sawmill, this site transports visitors through the centuries. From September 2 to 22, it’s open Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., while starting September 23, hours are limited to Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
